I Pay child support and health care for my child. He got into some trouble with some friends and lawyer fees are now involved his mother picked the lawyer and now wants to sue me for half of the fees. She does not let me have any say so in his life and makes poor judgments that got him in this mess. Am I obligated to pay this? I agree to pay half of the rehab and that will tap me dry.

in my opinion, if you have no say in the decisions or help raise the child, how can the other parent expect you to take half the liabilities. does she have full custody? If so, she should pay for it all.

what type of child support it is, it is joint child support are only you pay for child support. try to consult your problem with a solicitor they give better advice for your matter.
